- —2 cup Steel-cut oats, dry
- —6 cups water or oat milk
- —2 Apple, raw
- —2 tsp Cinnamon, ground
- —1 tbsp Flaxseed, ground
- —Pinch of salt
- —Maple, walnuts to serve

Method
- 01Add the oats, chopped apple, all the spices and remaining ingredients to the slow cooker. Stir to distribute the spices evenly through the oats.
- 02Close the lid and cook on LOW for 7–8 hours — this is perfect to set up before bed. You will wake up to a warm breakfast waiting for you.
- 03In the morning, give the oats a good stir — they may have dried slightly at the edges. Add a splash of milk if needed to loosen. Serve with walnuts and maple syrup.
