Why this works
Barley contains beta-glucan, a soluble fibre officially recognized (EFSA, FDA) for supporting normal cholesterol levels and a gentler blood sugar response after eating. Pears add pectin, which gut bacteria ferment into short-chain fatty acids beneficial for gut health.
